The Membership

A CCB corporate hotel membership is a managed programme that gives your organisation access to negotiated member rates at a curated network of premium hotels, a dedicated Member Service Manager who handles all bookings and account management, and a complete suite of spend visibility and reporting tools.

It is not a booking portal, a travel agency, or a loyalty scheme. It is a structured business service — designed to reduce your accommodation costs, improve the experience for your travellers, and give your finance team complete control over hotel spend.

No. CCB is a corporate hotel membership, not a travel agency. Travel agencies typically earn commissions on bookings and have a financial incentive to book the properties that pay the most. CCB earns through membership fees — which means our incentive is to deliver the best rates and service to our members, not to prioritise commissions.

CCB is most effective for organisations spending ₦1M or more per month on business hotel accommodation. This typically translates to organisations with 20+ employees who travel regularly for business, or organisations with smaller teams who travel very frequently to specific cities.

There is no upper limit on organisation size — Enterprise memberships are tailored for large corporations with hundreds of travellers, multiple legal entities, and complex finance requirements.

Yes. While CCB's hotel network is strongest across African business cities, we also maintain member rates at key international destinations frequently visited by our member organisations — London, Dubai, Paris, New York, and others. Speak to your Member Service Manager or our team during your consultation to confirm coverage for your specific travel destinations.

Rates & Savings

CCB member organisations typically save 20–35% on hotel accommodation compared to direct booking or OTA pricing. The exact saving depends on your current spend levels, the properties you typically use, and your travel patterns.

During your initial consultation, we model your potential savings based on your actual data — so you'll have a specific projection before committing to any membership agreement.

CCB offers a rate protection guarantee: if you identify a lower rate for the same property, dates, and room type through any public channel, we will match it. In practice, CCB member rates are consistently lower than publicly available pricing — but the guarantee ensures you never pay more than necessary.

No. The member rate is the total rate. CCB charges a membership fee (structured based on your plan tier and volume), but there are no per-booking fees, platform charges, or hidden costs on individual hotel bookings. The price your MSM confirms is the price on your invoice.

Member Service Manager

On Professional and Enterprise plans, yes. You are assigned a dedicated Member Service Manager who is your primary and consistent point of contact for all bookings and account management. On Premium plans, you have access to the CCB service team, but may not always deal with the same individual.

Every Member Service Manager has a designated backup who is briefed on your account. All traveller profiles and account information are accessible to the backup MSM, ensuring continuity of service. For planned absences (holidays, training), your account team will notify you in advance and introduce your backup contact.

Your MSM is available during standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm WAT). For Enterprise memberships, extended availability can be agreed as part of your service terms. For genuine travel emergencies outside of business hours, CCB maintains an emergency duty line accessible to all members.

Billing & Finance

CCB issues a single, consolidated invoice per month covering all hotel bookings made through your membership programme. The invoice is structured to show booking detail by traveller, cost centre, and destination — giving your finance team everything they need for reconciliation without requiring individual hotel receipts.

Yes. Enterprise memberships support multi-entity billing — separate invoices issued per legal entity or subsidiary, each with the relevant booking detail and cost allocations. This is also available as an add-on for Professional members with a multi-entity structure. Speak to your MSM to configure this during onboarding.

Onboarding

Most organisations are fully onboarded and processing bookings within two to three weeks of agreement signature. This covers account configuration, traveller profile setup, dashboard access, finance team briefing, and travel booker training. Enterprise memberships with complex configurations may require three to four weeks.

Your CCB onboarding team will guide you through what's needed, but typically this includes: a list of regular business travellers and their contact details, your travel policy document (if you have one), your cost centre structure for billing, your preferred hotel properties (if any), and the names of your key booking contacts and finance approvers.

Hotel Network

CCB's primary network covers major African business cities including Lagos, Abuja, Nairobi, Accra, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Dar es Salaam, Kigali, Addis Ababa, Cairo, and Casablanca. We also maintain member rates at key international destinations including London, Dubai, and Paris. Network expansion is ongoing — speak to your MSM if a destination you need is not currently covered.

Yes. If you have a preferred hotel that's not in our current network, your MSM will assess whether it meets CCB quality standards and, if so, approach the property to negotiate a member rate. This is a standard part of the Enterprise onboarding process, and available to Professional members for key preferred properties.
